TSMC Arizona is looking for a Supply Chain Management Intern to join our 4-nanometer fab, located in sunny Phoenix, Arizona. TSMC Arizona's Material Management department ensures a smooth and efficient supply chain that meets the needs of the organization and that of our customers. We are responsible for managing the flow of goods, data, and finances as it relates to the procurement of raw materials and services. These responsibilities include the sourcing of materials and services, negotiation of contracts and prices and meeting delivery timelines with suppliers.

 

Job Description:

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Participation in improvement projects related to the supply chain team’s main business processes.
  • Data analysis to identify risks to the continuous supply plan and to ensure that the required schedules are met.
  • Following up with relevant teams, such as sourcing, facilities, manufacturing, warehouse, and logistics.
  • Monitoring the performance of operations and sourcing in relation to need and financial targets.
  • Effective and proactive communication while engaging stakeholders across the organization.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States and have:

  • Must be currently enrolled at an accredited university, in one of the following degree programs: Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or Analytics.
  • Must be able to work full-time (40 hours per week) on-site at our Phoenix location, from May 20th, 2024 – August 2nd, 2024.
  • The ideal candidate should have a passion for technology, effective communication skills, analytical problem-solving abilities, teamwork and partnership skills, and the ability to tolerate ambiguity and be self-motivated.
  • Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office Applications.
