US Army Reserve

Unlike active-duty Soldiers, Army Reserve Soldiers typically spend one weekend a month on duty and two weeks a year in training—which means you can continue your career or education while you serve.

MONEY FOR COLLEGE

Selected Reserve GI Bill- up to 29,916.00 Paid to student while attending college over 36 academic months

Tuition Assistance- up to 27,000.00 paid to university over standard reserve contract

Student Loan Repayment- up to 50,000.00 in student loan repayment incurred before or during service

There are more than 120 job opportunities in the Army Reserve and many that correspond with careers in the civilian sector—which means the skills you gain in the Army Reserve can help you in your civilian career and vice versa.
