Virtual Research Assistant (for credit/unpaid)

Active CPT approval required  (Curricular Practical Training is an alternative work/study, internship, co-op or other type of required practical training.)

Under the direction of the principal investigator, provide technical assistance by completing literature reviews and other IO psychology research duties as assigned. Help summarize literature findings and assist with implementing research objectives, ensuring compliance with all legal, regulatory, and protocol guidelines. 

Communicate with the principal investigator on the status of research. Recruit participants for studies by developing surveys and interviewing candidates. Collect and log laboratory results, clinical outcomes and/or survey data. Evaluate and perform data analysis using graphs, charts, or tables to highlight the key points of the research results gathered.

Proofread and edit research data and documents to ensure accuracy. Assist principal investigator with summarizing/organizing data to be used to prepare proposals and other presentations. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Training will be provided for all aspects of the position. This position is ideal for applicants pursuing an undergraduate and/or graduate degree in a social science or related field.
