Camp Healthcare Assistant

- Maintain high standards of health and safety in all activities for campers and staff
- Assist with camper screenings on opening day of each session
- Assist Camp Nurse in the daily distributing and recording of camper Medications
- Assist Camp Nurse with providing for the daily health care needs of campers and staff / Documenting all care
- Help supervise the Health Care Center
- Assist with organizing and restocking first aid kids
- Drive campers or staff to the clinic
- Ensure that campers receive their medications as delegated by the camp nurse and directed by the camper physician, and notifying the camp nurse of any concerns
- Be alert to camper and staff needs and assist them with personal and/or health problems, and discuss with Camp Nurse, and/or Program and Camp Director when appropriate
- Be alert to equipment and facilities to ensure utilization, proper care and use, and maintenance is adhered to; report repairs needed promptly to Camp Director
