Guest Support

  • Dress code: Disney grooming standards. Khakis or Black pants are ok. Closed toe, closed heel tennis shoes.  A Disney staff shirt will be provided. 
  • No personal phone usage while working.  
  • On the job training will be provided by Disney.
  • Lunch breaks provided.  
  • Can bring their own food (microwaves are not available) or utilize local food offerings. 
  • Workers are asked to not bring personal items as lockers are limited (pending confirmation from Disney leader, Amber on option for workers to bring personal belongings in clear bag).
  • Pending confirmation if a lanyard and/or nametag is required to differentiate which supplier a worker is with. 

We have a high-volume staffing coming up in January 2024 for runDisney’s Half Marathon Weekend in Anaheim, CA. Workers will be needed to provide support for prep, registration, water stops, guest control, t-shirt pick up, gear check, and post-race food. On-the-job training will be provided by Disney. Please find breakdown of job duties for each position below: 

Expo Prep: Workers will assist with prepping t-shirts with sorting and placement in the Expo space. Will assist with prepping registration space with supplies.  Must be comfortable standing throughout the shift, passing out items (twisting, bending, scooping, and lifting under 30 lbs.)  Located inside the Disneyland® Hotel. 

Expo Registration/Waiver Printing: Workers will be greeting Guests, helping Guests line up, answering questions, checking Guest IDs, looking up registration and handing out race bibs. Some Computer skills will be required to operate the registration system. Must be comfortable standing throughout the shift, passing out items (twisting, bending, scooping, and lifting under 30 lbs.)  Workers will be inside the Disneyland® Hotel. Shifts are throughout the day. 

Expo T-Shirt Pickup: Workers will be greeting Guests, directing Guests to lines, answering questions, checking Guest race bibs and handing out shirts based on Guests bib information.  Must be comfortable standing throughout the shift, passing out items (twisting, bending, scooping, and lifting under 30 lbs.)  Workers will be inside the Disneyland® Hotel. 

Expo Cheer Cards: Workers will be greeting Guests, answering questions, assisting Guests with creating and decorating Cheer Cards.  Must be comfortable standing throughout the shift, passing out items (twisting, bending, scooping, and lifting under 30 lbs.)  Workers will be inside the Disneyland® Hotel. 

Start Line (5K, 10K, ½): Workers will be greeting Guests, answering questions, checking race bibs, directing Guests to corrals based on their race bib, and count Guests utilizing a hand counter. If there is an issue with lines, etc. there are on-site Disney Leads and Managers to answer additional questions.  Must be comfortable standing throughout the shift, passing out items (twisting, bending, scooping, and lifting under 30 lbs.)  Workers will be outside on the streets of Anaheim. 

GEAR Check: Workers will be greeting Guests, answering questions, checking race bibs, check-in Guests bags, sort bags by number, validate number to runner when returning bags. If there is an issue with lines, etc. there are on-site Disney Leads and Managers to answer additional questions. Must be comfortable standing throughout the shift, passing out items (twisting, bending, scooping, and lifting under 30 lbs.)  Workers will be outside on the streets of Anaheim. 

Family Reunion Area Water: Workers will be greeting Guests, answering questions, filling cups with water and replenishing water supplies. If there is an issue with lines, etc. there are on-site Disney Leads and Managers to answer additional questions. Must be comfortable standing throughout the shift, passing out items (twisting, bending, scooping, and lifting under 30 lbs.)  Workers will be outside on the streets of Anaheim. 

Water Station: Workers will be greeting Guests, answering questions, filling cups with water, sorting cups, picking up trash and replenishing water supplies. If there is an issue with lines, etc. there are on-site Disney Leads and Managers to answer additional questions. Must be comfortable standing throughout the shift, passing out items (twisting, bending, scooping, and lifting under 30 lbs.)  Workers will be outside on the streets of Anaheim. 

Post-Race Food: Workers will be greeting Guests, answering questions, distributing water, PowerAde, fitful boxes, bananas and replenishing water supplies.  All food will be pre-packaged. Not considered a food service position. If there is an issue with lines, etc. there are on-site Disney Leads and Managers to answer additional questions. Must be comfortable standing throughout the shift, passing out items (twisting, bending, scooping, and lifting under 30 lbs.)  Workers will be outside on the streets of Anaheim.
