Starting Compensation:

Mental Health Therapist I: $54,408.71 - $62,266.51 annual salary based on experience.

Mental Health Therapist II: $56,815.25 - $65,327.49 annual salary based on experience.

Livingston County Community Mental Health Authority is excited to offer an Employee Signing Incentive to eligible new hires. Regular full-time employees will receive $2,000, less applicable taxes. Role:

Staff are licensed mental health therapists who provide assessment of adults/children for their behavioral health and/or substance needs, identify goals, develop person-centered plans for treatment and case management services, provide individual/group therapies and case management services, and link and coordinate with needed community resources. Services are provided in both the office and the community. Clinicians will support people with serious mental illness and/or Developmental Disabilities. Clinicians must function well as part of a collaborative team and have good knowledge of community resources. Our staff utilizes evidence-based practices for our treatment services. Our therapists work under the supervision of the Mental Health Program Director and Program Coordinator.

Therapists must have experience treating adults with serious mental health needs and possibly with substance use needs too. Therapists must effectively work within a multi-disciplinary specialty court team to affect consumers' ability to achieve both treatment and legal goals. Some evening hours may be required. A valid MI driver's license is required.

Job Specific Requirements:

For Therapist II - Master's degree with Michigan licensure, either LMSW, LLP or LPC.

For Therapist I - Master's degree with Michigan licensure, either LLMSW, TLLP, LLPC and the ability to obtain full licensure within 2 years of hire. Promotion to Therapist II upon receipt of full license.
