Digital Marketing Intern – Zekelman Industries
Zekelman Industries is a multi-billion, privately-held manufacturer of steel products and an innovator in the development, design and construction of multi-family housing. We are considered an industry-leader in the markets we serve and proud to be a domestic manufacturer. As an intern, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to the Zekelman Marketing Team and gain valuable hands-on experience.
The intern will report directly to the Director of Marketing Communications. They will be responsible for supporting the marketing team on various initiatives, including:
- Digital paid media campaigns to support product marketing
- Recruitment marketing
- Organic social media
- Email campaigns
- Brand marketing campaigns
Responsibilities can include:
- Creative briefing documents
- Supporting product marketing
- Analyzing website performance
- Compiling research
- Content creation
- Leading A/B tests.
In this role, the intern will work closely with a variety of internal stakeholders and agency partners.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing and/or communication with an expected graduation date of May 2025 or earlier
- Onsite presence at our Chicago office 3 days per week
- Digital marketing college course work and/or experience with website planning, social media, and paid media
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to support multiple projects at one time while remaining detail oriented
