Certified Hand Therapist/ Occupational Therapist (FT) - Carrollton, GA

Carrollton Orthopaedic Clinic (“COC”) is currently seeking a Full-Time Occupational Therapist or Certified Hand Therapist for their Outpatient Rehab clinic.

Position Summary:

Provide efficient, quality-oriented occupational therapy patient care through an individualized program, including assessment, treatment, planning, implementation, a home exercise program, education, and communication to maximize the patient's progress toward achieving functional goals.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Knowledge and understanding of all clinic policies/procedures, culture, and organizational structure.
  • Ability to demonstrate superior clinical outcomes, patient customer satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
  • Must have the ability to be mentored and receptive to training processes.
  • Conveys a professional image and attitude.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to identify and implement components of the physical therapy process.
  • Identify learning needs and teach patients and families.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with a variety of teams and individuals.

  • Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
  • Working knowledge of personal computer and software applications used in job functions.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelors, Masters or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy as evidenced by college diploma.
  • Current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Georgia.
