This ten-week paid internship is located in Richardson, TX

 

What Are Your Responsibilities?

  • Assisting in design and development of new departmental automated tools in a variety of platforms including but not limited to C#, VB.NET, Excel VB, SQL, PowerApps, PowerBI and Tableau.
  • Maintain and enhance existing departmental automated tools.
  • Create automated reports including disseminating information from various sources and systems.
  • Create, design, and maintain databases; analyze reports and provide insights/suggestions.
  • Conduct data mining and analysis to test controls and address key business risk
  • Support data visualization and dashboard development for executive level stakeholders
  • Participate in a data-oriented and growth-focused team environment

 

What Do You Need To Be Successful?

  • Object Oriented Programming
  • Passion for analytics, problem solving, and process improvement
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases; C#, SQL, Python, R coding a plus
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools, such as Tableau and Power BI
  • Exceptional attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to self-motivate, remain organized, and receive direction well
  • Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Practical, developed PC skills, especially Excel, Word, and Access

 

 

What Are the Requirements You Must Meet?

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics or related field
  • Graduation date between December 2024  – June 2025
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0
  • Availability to work 10 weeks during the summer
  • Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
