Summer Staff
Thank you so much for thinking about working at Crowders Camps this summer. If you have never worked at a camp before it is a great experience to grow in your faith while also learning leadership and life skills. You’ll be surrounded by 50 college-aged adults with the same goal to teach all of the kids and leaders who step foot on our camp that Jesus loves them and that they are never alone. Disciples build disciples (Matthew 28:18-20)
Your Summer Includes
Housing - Apartments on camp shared with 2 other summer staff. Toilet, sink, and shower included.
Meals - Breakfast, lunch, and dinner provided. Also, have a camp store to purchase snacks
Staff trips and outings
CPR Training - Mandatory
Lifeguard Training - Optional
Ropes Training - Optional
Stipend check - Full summer $1,700 - Half Summer $850

Crowders Ridge
Program Camp is our biggest camp which has around 400 middle/high scholars and leaders that come in every four days or so and we lead everything for them. This includes quiet times, services, worship, games, tribal battles, tribal chants, meals, high ropes, paintball, lifeguarding, camp store, and more activities we’re adding this year. Each tribe will compete all week in many different activities to see who takes home the trophy and bragging rights for next year. Check out our recap video!
Both Locations
Outsource Groups are when big churches come and rent out our camp and all we do is facilitate. Serve meals, high ropes, lifeguard etc. This is the time for you to focus on your personal health and doing activities as staff due to the schedule being a lot more laid back.
Crowders Springs
Kids Camp is our day camp for elementary school (K-6) from 8 am - 5 pm Monday through Friday. We have two small groups and services throughout the day and a bunch of fun activities throughout the day. These activities include arts and crafts, archery, bazooka ball, creek mining, Xtreme zip, aerial park, tribal battles, and some new ones being added this year. The kids compete in chant battles, tribal games, and a bunch of other activities to earn points for their tribes to see who takes home the trophy on Friday. Check out our recap video!

Adventure Camp is our four-day intense outdoor camp meant for middle/high school students to disconnect from the world and see all of God's creation. They will experience the aerial park, and extreme zip, venture to a waterfall, learn wilderness/outdoor skills, archery, whitewater rafting, kayaking, fishing and so much more! They will sleep in tents or enos under the trees. Check out our recap video!
SUMMER POSITIONS
When applying you can put what type of camp or position you are interested in, but we assign you where we see you best fit based on your personality, interests, and how you interact with others during staff camp. Remember that no matter what location you are at or what role you are given, we are one camp united under the same goal and that goal is to spread the word of God to everyone we come in contact with.
Tribal Leader - In charge of leading their tribe of 100 students and staying in contact with their leaders, updating them and making sure they are where they need to be.
Intern Mentor - They will be in charge of leading and building relationships with our high interns to build them into young leaders who will eventually be our summer staff
Program Team/Floater - Helps with everything such as lifeguarding, waterfront/pool activities, production roles during main service, camp store, serving meals, bible studies, high ropes, and facilitating our rec games. Everyone does a little bit of this role but these Floaters will be in charge of making sure these tasks are completed.
Creative Team - Photographers, Videographers, and production team are in charge of helping maintain our social media platforms, daily/weekly recap videos, and assisting in lights/sound/propresenter.
