Summer Camp Cabin Counselor

Camp Lohikan is a premier summer camp nestled in the beautiful Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania. With over 65 years of experience, we offer a diverse and exciting program for campers aged 6 to 15. Our goal is to create unforgettable summer experiences for campers while fostering personal growth, teamwork, and lasting friendships.

Camp Lohikan is seeking enthusiastic and responsible Summer Camp Counselors to join our team for the upcoming summer season. As a General Cabin Counselor, you will play a pivotal role in creating a safe, fun, and enriching environment for our youngest campers ages 6-10, while helping them develop valuable life skills and memories that will last a lifetime.

**Responsibilities:**

- Supervise and engage with campers in our youngest age group during daily activities, including sports, arts and crafts, swimming, and outdoor adventures.

- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the cabin group.

- Serve as a mentor and role model for campers, encouraging personal growth and character development.

- Ensure the safety and well-being of campers at all times, following camp policies and procedures.

- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and camp-wide events.

- Provide support and assistance to campers with diverse needs and backgrounds.

**Qualifications:**

- Must be at least 18 years old.

- Strong passion for working with children and adolescents.

- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills.

- Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to a dynamic camp environment.

- Previous camp experience or experience working with children is a plus but not required.
