Radiologic Technologist FT/PT

Up to $20,000 in hiring incentives! | $7500 Sign-On Bonus -- OR -- $15,000.00 Student Loan Repayment - Plus a $5000 Relocation Bonus for eligible applicants | Full or Part-Time opportunities | Various Shifts | Accepting New Grads | 

Schedule: Full-Time | 72-80 hours every two weeks | 8- or 10-hour shifts | Rotating call/weekends/holidays

What you will do:

  • Perform a variety of technical procedures on patients of all ages to provide diagnostic results for the purposes of patient care
  • Support and implement patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate.
  • Exercises professionalism and apply principles of radiation protection
  • Performing radiographic procedures using existing imaging equipment on patients of all ages
  • Provides essential patient care and is knowledgeable of life support measures.
  • Work effectively with patients, their families, personnel, staff and general public.
  • Apply working knowledge of human anatomy and medical terminology.
  • Attend departmental meetings to maintain expected performance standards.
  • Interacting with people in a tactful and courteous manner using Family Center Care principles.
  • Use highly developed organizational and time management skills.
  • Respond to on-call situations and continual emergent demands.
  • Function independently, have flexibility, and personal integrity
  • Be proficient in up to 3 modalities to include: Mammography, CT, and/or Bone Density.

What you need:

  • High School Diploma or GED graduate required.
  • Associate Degree or bachelor's degree completion of an approved school of Radiologic Technology- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) required.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certified or eligible,
  • Must be certified within 6 months and meet requirements of the ARRT.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certified required per established policy.
  • 2 years' work-related skill or experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome!
  • Knowledgeable of life support measures.
  • Trained in Mammography, CT, and/or Bone Density.
  • Utilize well-developed written and oral communication skills
  • Computer system knowledge including a computerized radiology program.

Hiring Incentives:

  • To be eligible for the sign-on bonus and relocation bonus you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full time or part time benefited position.
  • Previous CentraCare/Carris employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire.
  • Restrictions apply to relocation bonus. To qualify for the relocation bonus, the candidate must live at least 50 miles away from hired location and relocate within 30 miles of primary work location.
