Physical Therapist

$3,000 Sign on Bonus and $5,000 Relocation Assistance (if applicable)! 

80 hours every 2 weeks - Day shift - Monday-Friday - Half day Saturday and holiday rotation.

The Physical Therapist is responsible for the evaluation, planning, directing and administering of physical therapy modalities of treatment as prescribed by a licensed physician. The Physical Therapist administers treatments and physical agents as prescribed by a referring physician in an effort to restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability and assists patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning, while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities.

EDUCATION:

• Graduate of an approved school of Physical Therapy.
• Graduate of accredited college university with a certificate in Physical Therapy.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:

• Physical Therapist (PT) Current state licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to read and communicate effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Knowledge of physical medicine, physical therapy modalities, anatomy and physiology.
• Knowledge of physical therapy equipment operation, maintenance and repairs.

*To be eligible for the sign-on bonus, you must be hired into an eligible full or part time benefited position. Casual and temporary/non-benefited positions are not eligible. Sign on bonus will only be awarded in cases where the applicant is external and has not worked for CentraCare/Carris for at least the past nine months (current CentraCare/Carris employees are not eligible).
