Housekeeping Management Intern - Summer 2024 (Housing Available)

The housekeeping department is responsible for cleaning and maintaining our 109 cabins.  They offer midweek housekeeping service to our week-long stays and clean the cabins thoroughly between guests.  They also keep the outdoor cabin spaces clean and looking great and maintain our inventory of bedding, additional cabin rentals and cleaning supplies.  Our housekeeping department also helps out in the kitchen in the evening and takes care of all the laundry in-house.

Our housekeeping interns will learn how to manage people, schedules, inventory and high standards of cleanliness, care and service.  Fair Hills Resort internships are hands-on and provide the experience to both learn and do at the same time.  These are operational internships; interns work their department’s positions, as well as take on extra management responsibilities.  This means, we work, not just delegate.  The intern will work with our housekeeping managers to run the department as well as perform the general cleaning duties.  It is our belief that it is crucial for any excellent future manager in the Hospitality Industry to have a good understanding and knowledge base of the housekeeping department.
