Financial Planning Internship
- Prepare reports for client meetings using various financial planning software.
- Communicate and build relationships with clients on phone calls and in-person conversations, as well as maintain and update their portfolios.
- Calculate important numbers for clients such as savings rates, monthly expenses, marginal tax rates, and return on assets.
- Open various accounts for clients through multiple custodian platforms.
- Assist in developing financial plans and recommendations based on analysis of clients' current financial standing and goals.
- Assist with various day-to-day administrative and clerical work.
- This role provides client relationship and general practice management support through preparing client deliverables, setting up a new business, following up on all business activities, assisting in the financial planning process, and performing other tasks as needed.
MINIMUM EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS
- Enrolled in an accredited university or college.
- Working towards a degree in business; finance/accounting preferred.
- Strong interest in wealth management, investments, and financial planning.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS NEEDED:

- Willing to work a minimum of 10 hours/week during Fall/Spring and 40 hours/week during Summer.
