Our Occupational therapy department is rapidly growing, and we are in need of a part time occupational therapist with opportunity to expand your caseload to full time status.
This position provides occupational therapy services to a pediatric population with a variety of disorders/delays. As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the occupational therapist will:
- Evaluate, plan, and implement occupational therapy services in the treatment of self-care, independent living, sensory-motor integration, and cognitive skills
- Establish appropriate treatment plans with age appropriate goals and target time frames, which are discussed with family and mutually agreed upon
- Collaborate with speech therapists and direct ABA staff on a regular basis
- Use pediatric based behavioral management strategies and match interventions to age and disability of children.
- Work with family members and care givers to help clients reach potential and incorporate strategies into daily routines
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program (required)
- NBCOT certified (required)
- State of Indiana license in Occupational Therapy (required prior to start date)
- At least one year of pediatric experience (preferred)
