OVERVIEW:

WayForward Adventures is looking for driven leaders who are seeking to deepen their walk with Christ while growing and refining their skills as a leader. The WELL presents a unique opportunity for those who are looking to further their leadership skills, professional development, and spiritual growth. The Leadership Program runs for 16 months and includes serving two full summer seasons and the off-season in between. This program is open to both Guide and Basecamp positions.

DATES: May 13, 2024 - September 1, 2025

JOB TYPE: Full-Time

MINIMUM AGE: 20

COLLEGE DEGREE REQUIRED: Preferred but not required.

 

WHY:

The WELL creates intentional space for you to connect with the Lord, build a deep community, and plan your future based on who God says you are.

Many people often step right from college into a career because it is the expected progression. By creating space through service in the outdoors, The WELL equips you to enter into the deeper questions of identity, purpose, and belonging. It’s a chance to make a long-term investment in your life. 
 

WHAT: 

  • The Residency Program spans 16 months, beginning May 13, 2024 and concluding September 1, 2025
  • Three group sessions per week are dedicated to personal and spiritual growth. You will be guided through leadership topics, Christian spiritual practices, and identity work exercises by the WayForward Team, as well as special guests.
  • Outside of the above requirements, you will participate in 14 hours of WayForward-related work per week, including but not limited to: summer staff recruitment, property maintenance, and hospitality.
