Supply Chain Analyst I

PURPOSE: 

Andersen Corporation is seeking Supply Chain Analysts. This position requires knowledge of continues production process scheduling (extrusion), purchasing of raw materials, and inventory management. Additionally, this position will Implement and support continuous improvements and business process changes. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

-Optimize plans and schedules in a lean environment, including coordination of services and materials to match production demands 

-Analyze and communicate value steam and/or supply chain capacity and constraints 

-Takes ownership in performing root cause analysis and driving corrective actions across Supply Chain, utilizing Supply Chain and lean tools; such as ERP, Kanban, spike tools, 5Y, etc.. 

-Collaborate with internal and external partners including suppliers, supervisors and team leads, logistics/warehouse groups and material planners 

-Represents supply chain in projects within the value stream (plan, source, make, or deliver). 

-Provides coaching and mentoring of supply chain planners. Receives minimal guidance from others. 

MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:

-4 year degree in Supply Chain

-Working knowledge of relevant supply chain technologies such as ERP, Manufacturing Executions Systems, Warehouse Management systems 

-Advanced skills and experience with Microsoft Suite, ERP and Reporting systems 

-Working knowledge of lean manufacturing tools such as pull systems, PDCA thinking, value stream mapping, process mapping, and Kanban systems. 

-Effectively collaborate and works well with others 

-Ability to understand customer needs, in detail, and consistently attend to meeting customer requirements 

-Seeks opportunities to learn from others who have more experience and tenure in the organization 

-Strong aptitude in process improvement and problem solving
