Aspen Graduate Scheme
Our next Graduate Program will begin in September 2024 and will run for two years, during which time our graduates will receive: professional training and development opportunities, be fully sponsored through their professional qualifications, provided with an enviable support network, and receive an attractive starting salary and benefits.
 
Position Summary
Aspen is an innovator in the management of complex risks on behalf of our clients and as an Underwriting Graduate you will have the opportunity to gain experience in some of the most specialist lines of business in Insurance. While on the graduate scheme you will carry out rotations which will give you the opportunity to gain an understanding of different lines of business, build key relationships and build your knowledge around the type of risks we write.
In the role you will quickly gain exposure to Brokers and Clients so excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to build enduring relationships are vital. You will be focussed and, once graduated from the scheme, in time, be able to gain underwriting authority to potentially accept or decline risks on behalf of Aspen.

Education Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Higher
  • Graduates on track to receive a 2:1 (UK) or GPA of 3.0 or above (US & Canada) or equivalent
  • Graduates, upon hire will work towards the Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) or related designation
