We have a part-time (25 hours) NextGen Ministry Resident Leader position open. Tahoe Forest Church NextGen Ministries is all about helping students see God for who He is, see themselves the way God sees them, and see others the way God sees them. We do this through a number of environments that help students to build spiritual friendships, have Biblical conversations, and serve their communities. Some of those environments include our weekly Youth Gatherings, monthly events, and annual retreats. Developing competent and caring leaders is our primary strategy for creating environments that are irresistible to students. Residents will have opportunities to learn and lead alongside our current leadership team members and full-time Pastor of Next Generations Ministries. There are 8 ministry focuses that residents can explore within Youth Ministries: 

  • Small-Group Leadership
  • Program and Recreation Leadership
  • Event Planning and Direction
  • Biblical Teaching
  • Musical Worship
  • Tech and Media
  • Hosting and Hospitality 
  • Communications and Design

We are looking for applicants for our NextGen ministries Resident Leadership Program.

The Tahoe Resident Leadership Program equips aspiring Christian leaders (ages 18-24) with an immersive experience. Housing is provided and the program is free to attend. We focus on; spiritual and leadership development, service-learning, and ministry work.

Residents gain vocational ministry through leadership training and serving alongside pastors and ministry leaders. Participants live in a beautiful house on the Church property as part of the residential program, which fosters close-knit relationships. Residents can earn income through community-partnered organizations and through camps.
