Industrial Electrician

The Industrial Electrician maintains, repairs, and operates a broad range of electrical systems and equipment in a heavy industrial environment to maintain continuous operations.

We run a 24/7/365 business, and as such we utilize rotating shifts, which include Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Paid overtime will be required on a regular basis.

Employees in this role are assigned to install, maintain, and repair a broad range of electrical and electronic systems and equipment while working with schematics, AC/DC systems, and PLCs.

 

Responsibilities:

May be required to work at heights and/or in confined spaces. May work alone with minimal supervision or with other maintenance technicians. Work in various areas of the plant, which dependent on the area, environmental conditions can be hot, cold, dirty, greasy, wet, and noisy. Various duties including those described throughout the posting Aid in operating functions as necessary Requirements: High School Diploma or GED Must pass an on-site written and hands on assessment and; At least one year of one of the following: Manufacturing and/or industrial experience as an Electrician, or o Relevant military experience, or equivalent education (such as industrial electronics, motors and controls, schematics and electrical power, print reading, computers and PLCs, electronics, AC/DC theory, power, test instruments and instrumentation, electrical maintenance, commercial construction and installation).
