Pricing Internship

The Pricing Internship will provide the necessary hands-on experience to be successful in the logistics industry, with a focus on pricing and market analysis. This role will be responsible for supporting the global pricing and market analysis efforts of the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the collection and analysis of market data to help inform pricing strategy.
  • Supporting the development of pricing models and methods to determine optimal pricing levels that turn into an abundance of business opportunities and allow us to stay competitive in the market.
  • Conducting competitor research to stay informed on market trends and economic changes.
  • Working with cross-functional commercial teams to help implement pricing strategy and effective communication of pricing results to decision makers of prospective and current customers.

The internship will allow you to gain experience with:

  • Market Research - Collect and analyze data on current market trends, pricing strategies of competitors, and customer behavior to inform pricing decisions
  • Pricing Strategy - Develop and implement pricing strategies to maximize profitability while remaining competitive in the market.
  • Price Optimization - Analyze historical market trends and pricing data to identify areas where pricing adjustments could lead to improved profitability.
  • Data Analysis - Analyze data on transportation costs, fuel surcharges, and other cost drivers to understand the impact of these factors on pricing.
  • Process Improvement - Identify areas of the pricing process that can be streamlined or improved to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications


  • Earning a degree in Supply Chain or Analytics or related fields
  • Ability to work on site in Indianapolis Indiana
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
