Marketing Intern - Summer 2023
Job Description
· K&M is seeking a paid marketing intern to join us on-site in Holland, MI for 8-12 weeks during the 2023 summer.
· Ideal candidate available part-time throughout the following school year.
· As an intern at K&M, you’ll gain hands-on experience working with engineers on real-world projects. We seek to fill this position immediately and give preference to candidates who can work during the school year.
Job Responsibilities:
· Work independently towards solutions for specific and broadly defined projects
· Develop content for annual Marketing Calendar for website, email, social, etc.
· Create innovative marketing solutions for K&M customers, products, and processes
· Collaborate on multidisciplinary projects with coworkers, suppliers, and customers
Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):
· Full-time college enrollment, working towards bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or similar with at least a sophomore level status by Fall of 2023
· Ability to work in Holland, MI from May 2023 to August 2023 without relocation or housing assistance
· Requires current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills or Experience):
· An entrepreneurial attitude
· Backend experience with WordPress, Woocommerce, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter
· Competency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
· Experience with product photos and photo editing
· Proven organizational and collaborative skills
· Desire to learn, question and research solutions to problems
· Robust marketing experience as demonstrated through hobbies, projects, or internships
· Strong communication skills and enthusiasm related to K&M niche products
· Junior or Senior class interns preferred
