Photography intern

Mirrorball Collective is an events company that specializes in hosting inspiring wedding styled photo shoots and content creation days. This photography internship would help with planning photoshoots as well as attending the photoshoots and capturing images, behind the scenes and assisting. 

This type of experience is a unique opportunity for an intern to learn photography as well as events, details, marketing, promotions, and overall planning/budgets, timing, etc.

You will work along side Alexis our head Photogtapher. You will get the opportunity to see all different types of photography. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
   •   Communicate with vendors and participants
   •   Provide onsite assistance at events
   •   Assist with creating concepts and designs for
styled shoots
   • Asset with making the photographers experience better and how to improve
   •   Create and stick to a budget for the events
   •   Assist with social media efforts which may include blog posts and creating content as well as posting
  

QUALIFICATIONS
  •  Energetic and friendly with customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • basic knowledge of photography or currently studying photography 


PLEASE NOTE: 
Hours per week: The internship is normally around 7-10 hours per week, but if your school requires a specific amount of hours per week we can work with that as well. This internship is flexible and remote, so you can work around your own schedule. 

Start date: As soon as possible or approved by your school if needed.
End date: The internship is flexible, depending on when your school semesters start and end it will be based around this. 

This internship is a short term internship, it can be a semester or 3 months. We offer a letter of recommendation at the end of the internship, you may use it for school credit if your school allows this as well. 

Some educational institutions require prior approval before the start of an internship for academic credit. It is the responsibility of the student to check with their institution to be sure they meet any requirements before they accept a position

This internship has some days where you need to attend events.
