Social Media Intern

At Edge Logistics, we deliver superior transportation management solutions through efficiency, technology and innovation.

We are seeking a Social Media Intern to support our marketing team and manage all social media platforms. A successful candidate will have a dynamic personality and can continue to build our social presence on multiple social media channels. This person is responsible for creating, editing, distributing, and optimizing relevant and on brand content across all social media platforms to attract, engage, and inform our customers. They will also have a solid grasp on utilizing a variety of social networks such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook, and other social channels. 

In this role you will be responsible for the management of growing our social media presence whether it’s capturing the essence of Edge’s culture on Tik Tok, reporting through social media analytics, or promoting our brand on LinkedIn.

Job Responsibilities
  • Execute and develop a social media strategy to improve campaign performance and reach new audiences
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the company’s social media platforms
  • Develop and monitor weekly/monthly social media content calendars
  • Monitor social media channels for industry trends and stay up to date with market’s latest
  • Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments in a timely manner
  • Track performance of social media campaigns and create reports on key metrics
  • Report on feedback company receives through online review platforms
  • Collaborate with internal marketing and sales teams, designers, and writers to provide attractive and informative campaigns
  • Attend events and produce live social media content
  • Consistently produce innovative and engaging content on all platforms

Qualifications
  • Pursuing or completed Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field
  • 0-2 years experience in B2B social media marketing or content development
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Expertise in multiple social media platforms (including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook Instagram, and TikTok)
  • Detail oriented with ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) or equivalent digital media editing tools such as Canva or Hootsuite is a plus
  • Passion for social media and content creation
