Recruitment Marketing Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION

Position is responsible for developing, executing and evaluating a HR recruitment marketing plan to promote the district and HR mission, vacancies, and programs; increasing community and internal knowledge and awareness of district priorities, programs and accomplishments; communicating with target audiences; engaging the community through social media tools including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and the TeachPVD website; writing and editing HR communications and publications; assisting with developing on-brand messaging; and support in coordinating special recruitment events.

EDUCATION TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 3 years of recruitment and marketing experience for talent acquisition function
Experience demonstrating full candidate funnel metrics and establishing ROI
Proven ability to understand and explain employment marketing data and employment trends
Experience creating engaging and dynamic content promoting major companies and job openings
Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and/or Access) and Google Suite
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for communicating with internal and external parties in a manner that is both articulate and professional
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND CURRICULAR LINKAGES

Essential Duties:

  • Develops, executes and evaluates recruitment marketing plans to promote the HR office’s mission and programs, and to increase community and internal knowledge of the district’s priorities, vacancies, programs, and accomplishments.

  • Plans and executes the HR office advertising and promotion activities.

  • Promotes and advertises the PPSD partnership work and collaboration with businesses, colleges, universities, and community leaders, building awareness and support for HR initiatives and programs.

  • Manages website and social media for the HR, setting guidelines, and planning content.

  • Applies programmatic recruitment marketing techniques to scale top end candidate funnel traffic while improving bottom end candidate funnel through increased hire conversions and lower cost per hire.

  • Writes, edits and publishes a variety of communications and publications to facilitate and enhance awareness of school district programs, events, activities and accomplishments.

  • Develops and implements consistent messaging to ensure cohesive two-way communications with internal and external audiences.

  • Collects and analyzes data on established and prospective job boards, recruitment vendors, and recruitment marketing technology.

  • Report on campaign and source effectiveness to maximize ROI and results and make data-driven adjustments and recommendations using proven recruitment marketing tactics.

  • Partner with the staffing team to understand key hiring priorities, external and internal factors impacting recruitment and utilize them to provide recommendations for development of digital recruitment campaigns.

  • Coordinates special events under the guidance of the Director of Diversity Recruitment & Pipeline Initiatives.

  • Support with recruitment efforts to engage a robust pool of qualified and diverse candidates.

Performs other related duties as assigned by the Director of Diversity Recruitment & Pipeline Initiative or appropriate administrator.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

Must have the ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time; exhibit manual dexterity to use a telephone, to enter data using a computer keyboard, and to perform; see and read a computer screen and printed material with or without vision aids; hear and understand speech at normal classroom levels and on the telephone; speak in audible tones so that others may understand clearly in normal classrooms and on the telephone; physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS STANDARDS

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Website and branding design experience
  • Ability to utilize critical thinking and independent judgment to manage recruitment marketing initiatives
  • Ability to juggle various work activities and shift their attention from one task to another to meet the demands of different stakeholders without dropping the ball
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy, team-oriented environment and have a roll up your sleeves and today not tomorrow mentality
  • Apply active listening skills through the ability to comprehend information presented and respond thoughtfully
  • Detail-oriented and can focus on the task at hand, no matter how minute, by finding the most efficient and effective pathway to completion
  • Ability to logically connect ideas, scrutinize and evaluate arguments, find inconsistencies and errors in work, solve complex problems, and engage in reflection
  • Ability to provide timely and empathetic help through in-person, phone, email, and social media avenues that keeps the co-worker or customer's needs at the forefront of every interaction
