Recruiter (Full Time, REMOTE)

Job Type: Full Time and Part Time Available, Remote
Pay Rate: $19-$22 per hour
Bonus/Commission: Up to $10K per year
Schedule: 5 Days/Week. 8 hours/day for full time.

** You must live in Michigan or Ohio and have a willingness to commute to the main office for monthly meetings in Ann Arbor MI to be considered for this position **

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will oversee the full cycle of recruiting and work to ensure the candidate and new hire experience align with our mission and Core Values:

This exciting role is responsible for performing recruiting-related duties working closely with department supervisors on all things staffing. The person in this role will be creative and systematic in their approach to ensure the hiring process leads to positive outcomes for new team members such as higher job satisfaction, better job performance, and greater organizational commitment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedules phone/video/in person interviews.
  • Conducts interviews and hires. Pairs with the operations team when requested.
  • Keeps timely interview notes within Paylocity.
  • Drafts new hire offer letter and sends.
  • Completes/initiates background checks.
  • Works with the program directors to ensure our candidates have an amazing hiring experience.
  • Uses recruiting software to proactively build a pipeline of talent for Life Care Professionals, and administrative staff within the program.
  • Hires for all Hourly and Administrative staff within the program.
  • Owns the assessment of all resumes submitted for specific hiring roles and ensures that we are recruiting to all federal and state guidelines.
  • Handles the lifecycle of the job ad including sponsoring and placement with the guidelines from the Program Director.
  • Focuses on the candidate experience, is action-oriented and motivated by results.
  • Uses sourcing techniques provided by KC impactfully for locating the right candidates.
  • Supports recruiting using campus relations and other partnerships when necessary.
  • Partners closely with hiring leaders and provides consistent and speedy updates on open roles, showing a high sense of urgency.
  • Demonstrates a thorough understanding of the Kennedy Care brand to ensure each candidate is a culture fit and technically fit for their respective roles.
  • Manages requests from KC Corporate and new job roles, descriptions.
  • Uses templates provided for posting, hiring.
  • Maintains organization of job openings and candidates.
  • Maintains contact with the candidate until onboarding is complete.
  • Provides updates to operation teams on the onboarding process.
  • Participates in recruiting meetings.
  • Serves as the point of contact between KC corporate and the assigned HR contact for all onboarding, recruiting related task/questions
  • Reports directly to the department head for performance, assignments, training, etc.

Requirements
  • Associates Degree OR minimum of 2 to 4 years of related experience is required
  • Must be flexible and can easily pivot based on the needs of the business
  • Must be autonomous and effective working in a position that’s 100% remote, at this time.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
