Summer Marketing Internship
WHAT TO EXPECT- You will be responsible for assisting the Marketing Department with duties related to concerts and events. As a member of our team, you will learn elements of ticketing, public relations, digital communication, graphic design, and more as you help us sell concerts and build on our brand.
DUTIES -
As an intern, responsibilities include:
Collaboration and Grassroots Marketing – Use your creative energy to help develop collegiate partnerships, connect us with the community, and create new collaborations.
Broad Marketing Exposure – Work with different members of our team to learn and assist with Public Relations, Digital Marketing, Graphic Design, Ticketing, and more!
Concert setup and operations – Work alongside the marketing team to set up and manage concerts. See your efforts in action as the community attends our programs!
Content Creation – You will help research, design, and implement marketing ideas for our website, social media, and email communications and brainstorm with our team to help accomplish our goals.
Day to Day – Be part of a professional office setting. You will assist the department with everyday tasks such as data entry, filing, attending team meetings, and other support functions as needed.
REQUIREMENTS- All interns must be at least 18 years old. While this opportunity is open to any major, it can be specifically beneficial to those pursuing a career in marketing, graphic design, music business, and non-profit administration.
The ideal applicant should be positive, energetic, eager to learn, and respectful. Excellent communication skills are a must. Applicants should be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. An interest in music or performing arts is preferred.
TIME COMMITMENT-
As an intern, we require you to commit 16-20 hours a week during our 9 am–5 pm office hours, Monday through Friday. Additionally, you are required to work evening concerts during your internship.
