*ABOVE MARKET SHIFT DIFFERENTIALS!* PAY RATE IS DEPENDENT ON EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE.
Responsibilities include:
  • Performs daily assessments on clients regarding their substance use disorder, mental health illness, eating disorder, and any other medical concerns that may arise.
  • Performs daily vital sign assessments.
  • Communicates client concerns to the Nurse Practitioner (NP) on a daily basis. This includes but is not limited to: acute withdrawal symptoms, medication effectiveness, side effects and/or abnormal vital signs.
  • Completes new client medical pre-screens, intakes and obtaining appropriate orders from NP.
  • Submits e-prescriptions as needed for all clients in all levels of care.
  • Educates clients and staff on safe medication administration and management.
  • Utilizes an electronic medical record (EMR) for all documentation.
  • Attends mandatory monthly nursing meetings for client care continuity, education and implementing new processes.
  • At all times, observes and respects clients’ individual rights, confidentiality and adhere to Sanford House’s personnel code of ethics.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education
  • Registered Nurse (RN) with current license in Michigan.
