CRM Strategy & Personalization Intern - Hybrid

As a CRM Strategy + Personalization Intern, you will help the team that creates the strategies and assists in the execution of personalized email, text, push and direct mail communications for weekly promotions, sales events, new product launches, customer journeys, and operational/fulfilment events. These communications are pivotal in driving traffic, revenue, and deepening customer relationships with customers. Increasing relevancy through greater personalization and orchestrated content and contact strategies will help Best Buy cut through the digital clutter and continue to thrive. 

What you’ll do 
  • Learn how CRM vehicles support retail business strategy 
  • Understand CRM vehicle best practices 
  • Support the execution of CRM Strategies across the shopping lifecycle: Promotional Sales, Product launches, Discovery, and Pre-Post Purchase communications 
  • Support teams by providing customer and campaign insights 
  • Analyze CRM communications & vehicles to provide growth insights 
  • Research and complete competitive analysis

Basic Qualifications 
  • Must be pursuing bootcamp, certificate, associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, graduating between fall 2023 and spring 2026 
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization (F-1 students with practical training and candidates requiring H-1Bs, TNs, etc. will not be considered) 
  • Must be willing to work in the Twin Cities Metropolitan Area in a Hybrid Model (2-3 days in the office) 
  • Proficient technical skills in Microsoft Office (i.e., Excel, Power Point etc.)

Preferred Qualifications 
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret data/information  
  • Ability to thrive and generate results in a fast-paced, dynamic atmosphere, and ambiguous environment 
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal, presentation, and facilitation) with a genuine curiosity for learning and seeking to understand
