About the Position:

The incumbent of this position serves as an Instructional Systems Specialist (NDSP Special Education Support) for the Non-DoD Schools Program in the Partnership and Resources Team of the Education Directorate, DoDEA Headquarters, in Alexandria, VA.

Salary
  • $112,015 - $145,617 per year
Pay scale & grade
  • GS 13

Duties

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure school policies align with state and federal regulations.
Review multiple sources of longitudinal data to identify trends and make recommendations for areas of improvement.
Develop individual education programs (IEPs) for students in a K-12 school system.
Serve as a subject matter expert on a variety of K-12 educational programs, to include, but not limited to, homeschooling, private education and public education.
Provide guidance to stakeholders regarding special education policies and federal legislation for students with disabilities.
