Campus Talent Specialist - Nashville

Lithko Contracting is seeking a Campus Talent Specialist to join our Early Career Team and support our rapid growth! This role is a unique blend of talent acquisition and talent development. This position will be based out of the Nashville, TN office. 

Campus Talent Specialist Job Summary:
The Lithko Early Career Team is responsible for attracting, building, and retaining top early career talent (Interns and Project Engineers) for Lithko Contracting, LLC and its subsidiaries. Through the Early Career Program the Campus Talent Specialist (CTS) will recruit and develop 15-25 Interns and Project Engineers (PEs) annually.

Key Responsibilities:
The Campus Talent Specialist is primarily responsible for successful recruitment and development of Interns and Project Engineers in their locations of responsibility. A successful candidate can expect to:

  • Cultivate university and organizational relationships to support branding and recruitment efforts.
  • Develop and execute a recruitment strategy for locations of responsibility. Organize and lead various on-campus and virtual events (career fairs, in-class presentations, student organization events, etc.) alongside Lithko Ambassadors.
  • Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and present qualified candidates to location leadership.
  • Manage the Integration Program including training and coaching of Integration Managers, intentional touchpoints with Interns and PEs, and consistent feedback to all stakeholders.
  • Utilize sourcing and tracking systems including Handshake, LinkedIn Recruiter, PCRecruiter (ATS), and Excel.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work or military experience
  • Experience in attracting, recruiting, or developing talent, preferably early career talent
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship
  • Ability to travel up to 50% during peak recruitment seasons (September-October and February-March) and 10% during off-peak seasons
  • Understand hours of operation may fluctuate based upon project hours and activities
  • Be willing and able to observe and engage on active commercial construction sites
  • Offer will be contingent upon a successful drug test

Preferred Skills & Experience:
  • Previous experience in the construction industry
  • Previous experience using Applicant Tracking Systems, Microsoft Office products, and other recruitment platforms such as Handshake and LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Works well autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to communicate to variety of audiences both in person and in virtual environments
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
  • Ability to enthusiastically promote the company to potential employees and influence internal stakeholder
  • Strong sense of urgency and curiosity, problem solver who takes initiative
