Internship

Amentum-REACT is recruiting for the OSCE! The OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina is seeking a three-month internship (HUM00005W).  Requirements: under the age of 30 on the date of the deadline of this vacancy notice; in your final year of higher education at graduate or postgraduate level or within two years after graduation by the deadline of the vacancy; previous experience and/or strong interest in areas of FO initiatives (civil society development, youth and interfaith co-operation) highly desirable; previous experience with NGO/CSO/IC organizations; good research and presentation skills; ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with people from different national and cultural backgrounds, whilst maintaining impartiality and objectivity; professional fluency in English with excellent communication (both oral and written) skills; professional fluency in Bosnian-Croatian-Serbian (BCS); computer literate with practical experience using Microsoft applications.

Tasks and Responsibilities: Conduct literature reviews, research, and analysis of governance topics both regarding Kosovo and in the framework of good practice studies and comparative research, and provide briefs and written reports as needed; Conduct legal research and analysis, including comparative legal studies; Support in drafting, editing, and compiling various team documents and reports; Support in monitoring and evaluating the team’s implementation of activities and programming, and identifying adaptation strategies where needed; Participate in meetings with interlocutors, counterparts, and other international organizations and draft briefings and action points where applicable; Assist, at the request of the Chief of Section and in collaboration with team members, in supporting activities of the Governance Section; Assist in designing and drafting communications materials and the Governance Section’s communications strategy; Perform other duties and tasks as instructed by the Chief of Governance Section.
