Jason is a 49 year old male who suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) from an accident when he was younger. The accident left him with multiple impairments and the need for full time care. He has since relocated to Michigan, where he lives in his own home and receives support from his family. Jason's family is very involved and wants the best for him. This includes forming friendships and engaging with his community! Jason has a sense of humor that will have you rolling on the floor. He enjoys sports, animals, and spending time with those he loves.
We are looking for motivated students that want to gain valuable experience working with others while also impacting the lives of those they are working with. Students interested in healthcare related fields will excel in this role!
So why a side-kick title? Jason is very independent, he just needs a friend around to help him sometimes and to make sure he is safe.
