Blog Team - Fall 2022
The Mott Haven Fridge Network blog team is a great place for self-motivated writers and creatives. Search Engine Optimization is crucial for keeping our name visible, and this is achieved through relevant, engaging, and consistent blog posts. Our blog is a reflection of how much we value our volunteers and community members, it shows that we care about the issues people are facing, and creates the opportunity for a dialogue about these issues.
Responsibilities:
- Create at least one blog post per week.
- Interview and photograph people associated with the organization, transcribe the interviews and turn them into blog posts.
- Research social justice issues and people who fight for social justice and write blog posts about them.
- Format and publish blog posts on Wix.
- Understand and utilize SEO.
- Maintain a robust content calendar.
