Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) Development Division in Tumwater, WA is currently seeking a Contract Services Manager. The Development Division consists of over 30 different support areas and 300+ technical, engineering, and administrative support employees in 6 offices (Design, Consultant Services, Environmental Services, Geographic Services, Real Estate Services and Bridge & Structures) providing policies and standards along with direct project support across all the regions, headquarters, and modes for pre-construction project development activities. The Contract Services Manager’s responsibilities include managing and operating complex, multi-disciplinary, high-risk government contracting programs for Consultant Services and Administrative Contracts. The scope and influence of this position apply agency-wide across all regions and divisions. The policies and procedures that are developed and maintained under the direction of the Contracting Services Manager are used in all aspects of the department for road, bridge, ferry, information technology and local agency projects in the state of Washington. These policies and procedures are a critical element of the WSDOT stewardship agreement with FHWA and are applicable to WSDOT projects and programs, as well as those local agencies such as cities, counties, and ports that receive federal-aid highway and other federal funding through WSDOT.
