PharmOptima, a member of Genesis Biotechnology Group, has an immediate opening for an In Vivo Research Associate. PharmOptima is a proven provider of ADME/PK, Bioanalysis, and Biochemistry research services to the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries.
Job Duties:
Most important a willingness to learn new techniques such as:
Prefer Knowledge and experience regarding animal husbandry to ensure adherence to standards set by USDA & AAALAC established protocols and procedures
Prefer Experience in vivarium procedures including but not limited to dosing rodents by various routes, blood/plasma collection, excreta collection, and sample processing Use of balances, centrifuges, pipettes and other general lab equipment required to carry-out job responsibilities
Experience with good documentation and laboratory practices
Requirements:
Prefer BS in a biological sciences area
Prefer 2 years’ experience in nonclinical research setting
Exceptional organizational and communication skills :
Prefer five or more years’ experience in nonclinical invivo research studies
