How you will make an impact as a Resident Aide:
- Serve residents by helping them fulfill their quality of life needs in a way that promotes their rights, dignity, freedom of choice, and individuality
- Provide assistance for residents with mobility, restroom activities, bathing, eating, dressing, grooming, and all other needs indicated by their plan of care
- Contribute to the service planning process by providing information and observations of the resident's needs and preferences
- Ensure that resident call lights are answered promptly
- Transfer residents manually and/or with the help of a mechanical lift
- Provide companionship and assist in wellness center activities
- Monitor and help residents as needed in the dining room during meals
