MASTERS LEVEL CLINICIAN

A Masters Level Clinician, under general supervision, performs evidence-based practice according to nationally-recognized standards to reduce symptoms and maximize recovery for individuals receiving service, which many include services for the treatment of co-occurring disorders. 

A Masters Level Clinician ensures that all documentation of client contact and treatment services is complete, thorough, and accurate, to meet all agency, state, and professional standards. An employee in this class writes initial assessments that accurately build on strengths and deficits which may result in a DSM diagnosis or an ASAM placement recommendation. These assessments may include a history of mental health treatment, relevant family history, current treatment recommendations or substance use disorder treatment.

A Masters Level Clinician develops person-centered treatment plans that are written in the language of the consumer and reflect the consumer's goals and measurable objectives and performs other work duties as assigned.
