Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Developer
Denali National Park and Preserve's Geographic Information Systems (GIS) program is seeking either a remote or on-site volunteer whose primary duty is to develop scripts for a handful of projects, with secondary tasks tailored to the individual's development plan. Volunteers with a desire for active mentorship in GIS and federal government employment are encouraged to apply. This position is scalable to the volunteer's abilities and desires, ranging from a few hours a week while at home to a fully immersive park work/life experience in Denali National Park and Preserve for the winter. An additional benefit to volunteer work is the ability to receive mentorship on applying for federal internships and seasonal positions. Please visit volunteer.gov for more information.
