2022 Michigan Career Education Conference Student Volunteer

The Michigan Department of Education Office of Career Technical Education is seeking individuals with excellent attention-to-detail, time management and multitasking skills and eager to take the initiative to help with the 2022 Michigan Career Education Conference at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel in Grand Rapids.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·      Registrant check in

·      Provide assistance for registrants

·      Breakout room assistance

·      Ensure all sessions run smoothly 

·      Other duties may be assigned

REQUIREMENTS

·      Must present a professional appearance and a friendly manner

·      Must be dependable and punctual 

·      Be courteous and personable when dealing with attendees

·      Be self-started, multi-tasker, detail-oriented

TIME COMMITMENT

·      Monday, January 31 from 7 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. 

·      Tuesday, February 1 from 7 – 11:30 a.m.
