2021 Clinic Community Development Coordinator VISTA Wausau
As a VISTA Member at Free Clinic at First Presbyterian Church in Wausau, WI you will gain professional experience by working to help FPC provide high quality comprehensive health care to those in need with a focus on expanding access to healthcare for those without insurance or who are under-insured by: helping to finalize many different aspects of the new clinic space FCP is moving into, helping to design and implement a clinic dispensary/pharmacy program for patients, helping to build and maintain partnerships with schools, coalitions and other community organizations, developing clinic policies and procedures, growing FCP’s volunteer pool, grant-writing/fundraising, helping to achieve and maintain the Standards of Excellence, continuing to develop FCP’s outreach via social media and more.
