Civil Railroad Engineer – Fort Worth, TX
Benesch is hiring an entry-level Civil Engineer to join our talented Railroad team. As a Civil Railroad Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects in one of our fastest-growing divisions.

The successful candidate for this position will be primarily responsible for:
- Collect and assimilate data
- Perform basic analysis, design calculations, and coordinate drafting of project elements
- Draw design details
- Compute quantities and demonstrate awareness of relationships to pay items
- Review mathematical calculations of others and organize calculations to be included in the design file, following project standards and as assigned
- Develop task deliverables in a complete and reviewable manner
- Perform tasks on schedule and within budget as assigned
- Work independently under the guidance of a Project Engineer
What You Will Need:
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate (Jr. or Sr. year preferred) or graduate level Civil Engineering program or focus
- Previous civil engineering/transportation experience or internship a plus
- Basic ability and understanding of AutoCAD (preferred)
- Demonstrate competent use of Microsoft Office products
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written - e-mails, project memos, reports, etc.)
- Excellent organizational skills
