Position Title:  Intensive Supervision Services (ISS) Coordinator

Position Summary:   Provide leadership and guidance to case manager in day-to-day operations of the ISS program, including the delivery of case management, skill development, individual meetings, school attendance checks, transportation, GPS monitoring, oral swab drug testing, and evidence-based and skills groups to juveniles who have been referred to the program by Marathon County.

Responsibilities: 
  • Oversee ISS program operations
  • Implement and conduct quality assurance measures
  • Evaluate program performance measures and engage in program adjustments and improvements as needed
  • Provide support for the ISS Case Manager
  • Facilitate regular staff meetings
  • Represent the ISS Unit to stakeholders
  • Review all referrals received
  • Review individualized service plans and ensure that service delivery utilizes evidence-based programming based on the recommendations of the YASI assessment
  • Engage in outreach efforts to develop strong referral relationships with community service providers and develop a resource list of providers offering an array of appropriate interventions and services
  • Schedule and participate in case staffing with social workers and other providers when necessary
  • Prepare detailed compliance reports
  • Accurately document and track required data in web-enabled database in accordance with established program policies and procedures
  • May be required to carry a caseload and provide case management, GPS, and drug testing services as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Competencies:
  • Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or social services-related field
  • Training and experience in Motivational Interviewing preferred
  • Prior experience providing case management/group services to juvenile justice-involved individuals preferred
  • Knowledge of applicable social service and community service providers in Marathon County preferred
  • Knowledge of effective evidence-based practices with juvenile justice involved populations
  • Willingness to be trained in and use evidence-based practices and programs with participants such as motivational interviewing, Skillstreaming the Adolescent, Carey Guides/BITS, Matrix Model, and other cognitive behavioral intervention tools as required
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are essential
  • Ability to work well with diverse populations in a non-judgmental and personable manner
  • Effective interpersonal skills in bringing people together to solve problems
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to work independently, and willingness to be flexible
  • Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel and web-enabled databases
  • Fluency in Spanish preferred
  • Must pass pre-employment background check

Terms: Full-time, permanent, exempt/salary position with benefits
