Center for Community Health Advancement creates programs and works with partners and communities to meet specific health needs and help develop healthy environments that foster resilient, successful children. Our team helps communities by working with local stakeholders like schools, county programs and many others to improve the community’s health.
The Manager – Community Health participates in the design, coordination, implementation and evaluation of designated programs within the Center for Community Health Advancement. The Manager – Community Health works with the director to provide leadership and coordination of technical assistance, consultation, education, training and resources for identified programs throughout the Marshfield Clinic Health System’s service areas. The Manger oversees AmeriCorps, a federal program often referred to as a domestic Peace Corps. The Manager is a part of the Community Health management team and is responsible for administrative operations related to AmeriCorps/Community Health programming.
Requires:
- Bachelor’s degree in health, environmental, business, education or related field.
- Two years of demonstrated leadership
- Five years of experience in health education, public health, health promotion, grant writing, or related field.
- Two years of management experience preferred
- Experience working with ethnic communities preferred
