Bilingual Spanish Communications Specialist - Fully Remote
The Communications Specialist works in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment developing and executing communications plans. The primary focus of this position will be to provide communications support for regional/local implementation of US LBM’s corporate initiatives and goals with significant impact, including: special projects, change efforts, recruitment and training. The Communications Specialist will report to the Director of Communications and work with regional and corporate teams to:

How You Will Spend Your Days as Communications Specialist :
- Providing communications support to regional leadership teams and project teams.
- Developing communications materials, such as fact sheets, job aids, instructional guides, Web content, briefings, and presentations.
- Drafting email announcements, designing promotional materials, preparing and conducting briefings while supporting the development of training materials.
- Creating, designing, monitoring and managing external websites, contributing content to US LBM’s internal communications and learning management system.
- Supporting the use of social media, including LinkedIn and other technology channels, to execute effective communication plans.
- Working with local teams to ensure generated content and appearance conform to US LBM style guidelines.

We want you to join the team if you can check these boxes:
- A Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, English or related field.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Zero to three years of experience in public relations, journalism, or a communications role in a corporate setting, consulting firm or a closely related field.
- Ability to execute projects under minimal supervision and work effectively and cooperatively with a wide range of internal audiences.
- Strong inter-personal skills required, with a positive approach to collaboration and relationship building. High level of independence, energy and motivation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong knowledge/experience with MS Office Suite including Outlook and PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Cloud, including Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop.
- Demonstrated skills in technical writing and associate relations.
- Ability to handle multiple projects on tight deadlines.
