Pay Scale: (Depending on locality pay for duty location, and experience)
GS-11: Developmental Level, starting pay at $65,000
GS-12: Full Performance Level, starting pay at $88,000

Qualifications:
To qualify for GS-11 (Developmental Level): Applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level GS-09. Specialized experience is defined as: experience performing network systems analysis; experience troubleshooting and resolving technical computer problems for customers; and experience installing, updating, and monitoring computer hardware and software.
To qualify for GS-12 (Full Performance Level): Applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level GS-11. Specialized experience is defined as: experience Providing IT guidance, operational, and technical end-user computer support to customers (Tier 1 and Tier 2); experience performing IT life cycle management; and experience ensuring/implementing information security (IS) and/or information assurance (IA) concepts, practices and procedures within the IT field.
AND IT Related experience demonstrating the following:

- Customer Service - Works with clients and customers to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services
- Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately
- Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
Education cannot be substituted for experience at the GS-12 level.

Other Requirements:
- This position requires professional certification IAT Level II, Baseline and Computing Environment Certification under DoD Directive 8140.1, "Cyberspace Workforce Management.", within six months of entering the position.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
Term Appointment Information (If Applicable):
Please note that If selected, this would be a Time- Limited Appointment Not To Exceed (NTE) 2 years, and extended in increments of up to one year, NTE a total of six years. You may be converted from a Term to a Permanent status (if incumbent held previous Competitive Status and/or Military Status) without further competition. The selected applicant will be required to sign a written agreement acknowledging the conditions of this temporary assignment and that they may be released from this position upon management discretion.
