Join the nation’s 5th largest city to incorporate DEI practices into programing aimed to address specific barriers to economic success for young adults from vulnerable populations across Phoenix! Along with the City Human Services Department, Business and Workforce Development Division (BWDD) the VISTA member will use new and existing research on workforce development with the goal of developing a framework that will be utilized in future equity alignment efforts across team programing. This is an excellent opportunity to work with an innovative cross-sectoral team, on a culturally relevant project. The successful applicant should have experience and/or an interest in research, policy, or community development, as it relates to public service. Preferred but not required: Spanish proficiency; knowledge of, or experience with, underserved Phoenix populations; experience, even if through school, in technical writing, and a basic understanding of statistics and public systems.
