Forward Service Corporation (FSC), a passionate, not-for-profit firm that strives to provide exceptional customer service in employment and training related services to local, state and federally funded program participants. Our non-profit firm is seeking one full-time Job Developer in Beloit, WI and Janesville, WI.
The Job Developer hold the responsibility of job placement opportunities for program participants through their relationships with employers, businesses, and local community agencies. They act as a liaison between the employment community and the active job seekers. They will negotiate employment opportunities and will also develop, coordinate, maintain and evaluate worksite (employers) and volunteer sites and opportunities.

PRIMARY DUTIES INCLUDE
- Work with the FSC team of case manages and participants to analyze participant needs, skills and experience in order to develop matches for volunteer and job opportunities.
- Utilize assessment results to understand participant interests, needs, and skill sets and place participant into matching volunteer and job opportunities.
- Survey employers on employment and training needs and projected skills shortages and understands the local labor market relative to trends and needs.
- Visit volunteer and job sites on a regular basis to conduct site evaluations and maintain positive relationships.
- Assist with the facilitation of job seeking skills and workshops.
- Assist in the coordination and implementation of outreach services.
- Attend business/employer related meetings and activities, i.e. Chamber of Commerce events, business services meetings, business open houses, etc.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
The ideal Job Developer will have the ability to work effectively with program participants, community organizations and area employers. They will have the ability to work effectively with case management team and program participants in order to understand and evaluate participant skills sets and match these to the local labor market and hiring opportunities. This position requires the ability to learn and implement program requirements and policy. This position requires excellent organizational skills, oral and written communication skills, and the ability to operate a PC using Microsoft Office software and the ability to understand Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Associate degree and two (2) plus years work-related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Forward Service Corporation offers a competitive wage for this full-time, non-exempt position with a starting rate of $19.01/hour with additional compensation based on experience beyond the minimum requirements. This full-time position is Monday-Friday, includes an excellent benefits package, a phenomenal 401(k) plan, as well as an excellent Paid Time Off (PTO) bank and 11 paid holidays!
