Global Quality Intern

Summary:
The Global Quality Intern will review existent process maps and work with Quality Team in FMEA (Failure Mode Effect Analysis). Throughout this internship you will also analyze data in our Quality Complaint issue and Production Quality Failures by learning several databases, utilizing Microsoft Excel, and collaborating with other teams. This Global Quality Intern will work through other projects that improve efficiency in various processes.

Required Qualifications:
·     High School Diploma or equivalent.
·     Three years of college coursework completed in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Computer Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
·     Previous work experience, preferred.
·     Knowledge of Six Sigma methodology, Quality Management, Statistical process control chart, or problem-solving techniques (Cause & Effect, 8D, etc.), preferred.
·     Process improvement, process analysis, or project management experience, a plus.
·     Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (macros, pivot tables), a plus.
·     Commitment to safety and quality.
·     Must be able to work remotely.



This is a temporary, remote, summer internship with no benefits. Authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Relocation assistance is not available. Chem-Trend is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
